Riddick (Vin Diesel) is left for dead on a planet so close to the sun it looks scorched. He finds himself having to face up against a alien race of predators. Upon activating a switch, two ships are alerted: one carrying a new breed of mercenaries, the other captained by a person from Riddicks Past.
