Join Mike, Sulley and the rest of the gang in a Monsters Inc prequel; 'Monsters University'. In this film, we'll take a journey to the loveable gang's younger years, maybe finding out the answers to some of those questions which left us scratching our heads as children, why were children's clothes known as dirty and have Mike and Sulley always been the best of friends? In fact, they couldn't stand the sight of one another; 'Monsters University' explores how they overcame all their differences and become the pair we can't imagine our childhood without.
During a recent visit to the Disney Store before Christmas, I noticed their new line of teddies had been released and one in particular caught my eye, George Sanderson. George did feature in the background of Monsters Inc, but does his teddie debut suggest a bigger role in 'Monsters University'. We will see.
ASHLEY'S OPINION: I think this film will unearth the back stories of the characters that we never learned much about the first time round. Monsters University will reveal a bit more of their personalities, allowing them to shine through. With lots of gags and Pixar trickery, this is surely going to put some fun into the summer!
'Monsters University' is hitting the cinemas on the 12th July, 2013.
