Two 'Star Wars' Spin-Offs Announced

It's official folks, Disney have announced that there is spin-offs in plan but of who exactly is unknown. It is widely speculated that they are going to consist of a young Han Solo and Boba Fett. This comes shortly after Disney announced that J.J.Abrams will be directing the 7th film, no doubt the expanding Star Wars fan base is going crazy right now!

Even though it is in it's early stages, it is thought that the adventures of a young Han Solo  will be set between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV:A New Hope. No doubt a new leading actor will be required cause if a old Harrison Ford is playing a young Han Solo, it's just going to look a little bit peculiar!

Following this, the story of Boba Fett is also being suggested to take place between Episode IV: A New Hope and Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. There isn't as much complications involved in casting him as he didn't take his mask off for the original trilogy.

Working on these spin-offs are writers Simon Kinberg (Mr & Mrs Smith) and Lawrence Kasdan (Screenwriter for Raiders of the lost ark). Both have tremendous talents and a resumé to be proud of so there is no doubt this project is in good hands, expect to see some excellent stories.
