That's right guys, the minions are back. The widely anticipated Despicable Me sequel sees Gru and the gang return to the big screen for yet another whacky adventure. It is certain that the likes of Steve Carell and Russell Brand will reprise their roles as Gru and Dr Nefario, as well as iCarly star; Miranda Cosgrove as Margo and film newbies; Dana Gaier and Elsie Kate Fisher as Edith and Agnes. 

Though the main focus appears to be on new cast member and The Godfather star; Al Pacino, who will feature as Gru's nemesis in his first ever animated film. Joining him in the line up, is Steve Coogan who will appear in a role, yet to be announced. 

The Despicable Me 2 storyline remains unclear at the moment, with the teaser trailer giving very few clues. However, it does suggest that the film may be based on someone or something; possibly Gru's arch enemy (Al Pacino) kidnapping Gru's minions. Frustratingly, we'll have to wait and see what further trailers have in store us, regarding this crazy, fun-filled film for summer 2013.

Despicable Me 2 will hit your screens on July 3rd, 2013 so you better be ready for some minion madness.
